Cancellations/ No Show

Life happens! We get it! Please let the Artist know at least 24 hours in advance if you cannot make the appointment. Sunkissed by Courtney reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee (prices may vary) if the cancellation is not within 24 hours.

All Services require a card to be held on file and a deposit to book an appointment. Your card will not be charged unless you authorize it to be used at the end of the service.

For No Show appointments, Sunkissed by Courtney reserves the right to charge the card on file for the full amount of the service. To book again after a No Show, an invoice will be sent to the customer for half the amount of the new, booked service(s), plus a $25 re-booking fee that does not go towards the cost of the service. After 2 No Show appointments, the client will no longer be able to book with Sunkissed by Courtney. Service will be refused.

Waxing

  • Everyone‘s skin will respond differently to waxing

  • Please expect:

    • Discomfort

    • Redness

    • Surface bleeding

    • Potential bruising

    • Immense swelling

    • Temporary burning

  • Please ensure all areas that you want to get waxed are properly cleaned prior to your appointment

    • Artists’ have the right to refuse service due to lack of cleanliness

  • Waxing is not recommended if you are pregnant

  • For Waxing on the face, please avoid direct sunlight for 72 hours

  • It is encouraged to exfoliate 24 hours after getting a wax to avoid ingrown hairs

  • Wear loose clothing to avoid irritation for 24 hours

  • Wait 72 hours to get an intense exfoliating facial (Dermaplanning, Micordermbrasion, Chemical Peel, Microneedling)  if you get waxed on any part of your face

Lashes

  • Everyone’s eyes will respond differently to Lash Extensions

  • Please expect:

    • to keep your eyes closed for a long period of time

    • some pulling

    • watery eyes (not applicable to everyone)

    • some burning

  • Eyes must be clean and free of residue and makeup prior to service

    • Artist has the right to refuse service if there is too much residue or makeup (residue and makeup have oils in them that can prevent the lashes from sticking and/or lasting)

  • Please refrain from talking excessively during this service (it slows down the Artist)

  • Depending on the fullness of one’s natural lashes, the service can take longer than the suggested time.

  • Having an allergic reaction to the glue is common! Please let the Artist know immediately if you feel any uncontrollable burning and/or itching.

    • Service will be stopped, and any work will be removed.

    • If you are uncertain about allergies, please schedule time to have a patch test completed at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled service.

  • Cell Phones are not permitted during service.

  • Try to avoid bathroom breaks during service (we hold the Artist accountable to this as well!)

  • It is not recommended that you get a facial directly after this service.

  • When cleaning your face, avoid products with oil in them.

  • Use lash shampoo to remove makeup and residue from the eyes after getting extensions.

  • In the event your lashes fall out excessively within the first 3-4 days we will replace them for free:

    • Try to come back as quickly as possible.

    • Our Artists can gauge if there has been natural fall out or if your lashes have been picked. 

      • If we suspect you picked your lashes out, you will be charged for a weekly mini fill.

  • If the Artist feels your lashes are not strong enough to withhold lash extensions, they have the right to refuse service.

  • It’s ok to fall asleep!

    • Please be mindful of how hard you sleep! Artists are working with some very sharp tweezers!

  • Snoring IS PERMITTED 😌
